Biochef's patented Enzyme Protection Technology (EPT™) system ensures maximum retention of nutrients and enzymes, while ensuring food is dried evenly and consistently.

With a rear fan and heating system, efficient horizontal drying removes water from food with a continuous circulation of thermostatically controlled warm air throughout the cavity.

This ensures food is dried uniformly and thoroughly with no moisture spots where dangerous mould or bacteria can grow.

Ideal for dehydrating fruits, vegetables, meats, herbs, flowers and even yoghurt, dough and clay art.

Adjustable Controls for Precision Drying

BioChef Premium 16T S/Steel Food Dehydrator Control Panel

A convenient mechanical timer with auto shut off and an adjustable thermostat with a temperature range of 40ºC - 90ºC, allows for better regulation over the drying process as foods are dehydrated with precise air flow and thermal control.

The horizontal airflow and drying action is consistent and rotation of trays is not required. Simply set the dehydrator low and slow for maximum retention of living nutrients and enzymes in fruits and vegetables or set above 60ºC to prevent bacterial growth, when drying meats and fish without preservatives or added sodium.
